We are pleased that our General Manager, Tassos Kotzanastassis, CFA, served as session moderator at the ULI Greece & Cyprus Annual Conference 2025, held on 27 May in Athens.
Mr. Kotzanastassis moderated the panel discussion titled “Greece Beyond Tourism: Which Sectors Can Be the Next Driving Force of Real Estate Demand?”, leading an insightful dialogue on the future drivers of property demand in Greece and Cyprus. The session explored the importance of dynamic and diversified occupational demand in shaping an institutional-grade property market, addressing key questions around market scale, the attraction of major occupiers, and the lessons that Athens and Thessaloniki can draw from comparable European markets.
The panel featured distinguished industry leaders including Dimitrios Vlachopoulos of Cushman & Wakefield, Julia Arlt of DREA Digital Real Estate Association, and Pavlos Pavlakis of VentureFriends, with a keynote address delivered by Simon Durkin of BlackRock.
We thank the organisers for an engaging and forward-looking conference and for the opportunity to contribute to this important discussion on the evolution of the Greek and Cypriot real estate markets.
